About Sara
My career journey began in sunny California with a startup company. It’s where I discovered my true passion and natural talent for accounting and business operations – my career took flight from there.
In the years since, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of companies across different industries, including finance, manufacturing, engineering and services. My roles have ranged from a bookkeeper to general ledger accountant and financial manager to controller – but my experience working with startups specifically gave me the chance to wear many hats and understand how a business runs and grows.
With my diverse professional background, not only can I provide bookkeeping and accounting services, but I can also share expert advice that ensures your financial success and gives you peace of mind.
The name InLyne carries a heartfelt connection to my two daughters, Lyla and Nessa. The "LY" in Lyla and "NE" in Nessa merge to create "Lyne." As a mother, my girls are my inspiration and motivation in everything I do – including starting and growing this business.
I currently live in central Iowa with my husband Joel, two daughters and dog Mochi. We moved to Iowa in 2021, inspired to be closer to my family after our years in California. We are very active as a family, always finding ways to get out to enjoy nature and new adventures together. In my free time, I enjoy thrifting, sampling the latest charcuterie board trends, doing hot yoga and listening to live music.
